So I was thinking: in Inquisition Cassandra mentions, that both she and Leliana originally wanted to have HoF or Hawke leading the Inquisition instead of some rando, who survived the blast.
So, just imagine. Explosion, breaches open up and Hero of Ferelden just steps out and looks at it for a good minute and turns to Cassandra like.
“I hope we can beat it to close up, but I might need whole army of suicidal lunatics like me, to aid in this…”
Cassandra looks at them skeptical, like
“I do not think we can close it by… fighting it physically, Hero…”
Warden shrugs shoulders.
“Well, that means I cannot help. I am only good at rallying Fereldans and killing huge old dragon Gods and ending the Blights… Call me if any of those would appear…”
They pat Cassandra on shoulder and leave.
Or imagine Hawke comming out and seeing a breach. Champion angrily waves at it shouting.
“The hell is that green fuckery?! Why everything crazy in this country cannot happen while I am not around…”
Cassandra death stares at Hawke.
“This… all this started at Kirkwall… If not mage rebellion…”
Hawke stops her mid sentence, grabs their weapon and starts walking towards the breach while angrily mumbling under their nose.
“Let’s start a rebellion, he said… We will save many people, he said… Fucking Anders… Why I always have to clean after his fucking mess…”
