i’ll start: samantha loves trap music and when she gets famous and people start making joke trap remixes of things she’s said publicly she plays the remixes over the normandy loudspeakers so everyone has to listen

but in me3 she has such bad ptsd that ashley and liara have to take turns staying with her all the time so they can restrain her any time she has a violent outburst or a nightmare

Katerina Shepard is a history nerd. She travelled through most of Earth when she was young, and she loves talking about the history of the different civilizations, countries and conflicts of Earth. When she meets Liara, they both have a great time nerding out with each other, tough Katerina tends to get bored when Liara talks about the Protheans for too long, but she does her best to appear interested and to avoid falling asleep.

Sad fact: She has had drinking problems and a red sand addiction since she was very young. After the suicide mission, the Alpha relay incident, being locked up by the Alliance and the Reaper invasion, her mental health took a nosedive. EDI’s timely warnings and being kept in watch most of the time is what saved her from dying from overdosing on red sand on a couple of occasions.

Ailith was born and raised in Ireland, since she grew up on the streets, she taught herself Gaelic from old signs and any books she could steal. She has a love for celtic history and mythology, and has a bunch of tales and songs memorized. One night when Thane was staying in her cabin, Ailith woke up from a nightmare and quietly slipped out of bed to lay on the couch and sing herself old lullabies. When Thane woke up and figured out what was happening, and that she enjoyed singing, he took it upon himself to learn as much of the language as he could in the time he had, and he would often ask her to sing for him knowing it helped her relax. She loved it every time.

Sad Fact: Ailith had a serious drinking problem when she met Thane, and was known to be cold and harsh to most people. After learning more about him, and subsequently falling for him, she worked hard to be better. She stopped drinking and really started to relax, trying hard to be a better person. When Thane died in the Cerberus attack on the Citadel she spiralled. The first night after the attack Joker and Tali had to stay with her through the night, she was a broken mess. She composed herself and as the weeks went by she became colder. Steve often found her, late at night, in the cargo bay sitting atop the shuttle with a bottle of unopened whisky. They would sit together and share stories about their respective pertners. She claims that was one of the only reasons she didn’t drink herself to death. Wrex would call and send missives when he could, he knew he was bad at shit like that but he knew that just talking to her would help. They would talk about everything under the sun, and when they weren’t talking Wrex kept in contact with Joker and Tali to keep tabs on Shepard.

Before the final battle Ailith pulled Garrus aside and told him that when this was all over the Normandy was his. When asked as to why she was making this decision she only said. “I made a promise to Thane to meet him across the sea, I never break my promises. So now, I only habe to pick the time and place.”
