hey guys, normally i try to keep drama off of my blog but this is really important. I just wanted to let you know that someone named WetWorkKing05 has been taking credit for MY kills over on redbloodle.com and is making money off of my hard work. When I messaged him directly he blocked me and threatened to kill ME >_> I’ve tried talking with the mods about getting his account taken down, but redbloodle has NO policy for this and they are no help at all. i don’t know what to do??
PLS signal boost if you can! And in the meantime, if you need somebody killed, do NOT hire WetWorkKing05! he is a THIEF!
Sulevin Blade: Very easy to miss when exploring Emprise Du Lion. When exploring north-east of Valeska’s Watch, north of the Deep Road entrance and west of a ruined tower, you should run across a camp with an elven corpse. The note on the corpse opens up a War Table mission, which in turn opens up a Temple and then a quest to gather pieces of the broken sword. All so Dagna can draw up a Greatsword design
with a range of 305-319 DPS from the pieces and have it replaced.
Disband or Conscript?: One of the biggest issues that most players have is siding against their preferred allies in the Mage/Templar war. Pro-Mage choosing to do “In Hushed Whispers” and Pro-Templars do “Champion of the Just”. However, if you do ever want to play the other quest, whether to see Ser Barris or just check out the Elder One’s other ally, it can be done without truly siding with the opposite enemy. It is actually possible to conscript/enslave the mages if you play “In Hushed Whispers” as a Pro-Templar, sending them back to the Circles with a new fraternity if you chose the right Divine at the end of Inquisition. While Pro-Mage players can actually disband the Templars and consume them as soldiers of the Inquisition instead.
Cole in Haven: Maybe I’m wrong about this one, but usually when I finish the Mage/Templar quest I’ll instantly start the next story quest and miss this one. If you do that too, after completing “Champions of the Just” Don’t. After recruiting the Templars, Cole can actually be talked to near the merchants stand in Haven. It’s a good chance to get to know him, before going to Skyhold.
Thanking the Iron Bull:This isn’t anything big, I just thought everyone would like to know, that a couple of Chantry Sisters discuss thanking the Iron Bull profusely last night…right outside the Haven Chantry.
Inquisitor Lyrium Contacts: I highly recommend everyone grab the first perks in the Forces, Secrets, and Connections perk trees as early as possible, the perks that add dialogue choices. There are many dialogue choices I love using that come from those perks. One minor use is after gaining your Templar or Mage companions, the Inquisitor can offer up some lyrium contacts of their own. Which is just a nice piece of roleplay material, for the less than “rule-abiding” Inquisitors (specifically Adaar and Cadash).
Quick Rebuild of Skyhold: I loath having to wait to get access to the Inquisitor’s room to use their Wardrobe, so I’ve found a bit of a cheat. If you have a high enough friendship with Solas, so much so that he takes you into the Fade, then this will automatically unlock the Inquisitor’s bedroom (for the obvious reason that’s where Solas leaves them to sleep) and much of the rest of Skyhold. It’s just a quick way to get in and change out of grey pjs, if they don’t suit you.
Garden Meetings: Always check the Skyhold Garden, interesting people end up there. Including Ser Michel and Fairbanks. Also be sure to check the bushes on the right side of the Garden, for some reason they love to hide in them? I recommend going to talk to Mother Giselle there after Adamant too, she has interesting dialogue; especially if you are not Andrastian and/or have denied being divinely chosen.
Scattered in Skyhold: After gaining the “Enhanced Studies” perk from the War Table, be sure to check the second floor of the rotunda, across the rail from Dorian should be an elven researcher looking for 48 copies of Hard in Hightown…y e a h. Anyways, the 48 copies will be all around Skyhold as a little scavenger hunt. Which the one in the Garden will sometime glitch in midair. To grab it, jump from the top of the stairs, repeatedly pressing the interact button on the way down.
Vivienne and the Andrastian Throne: This one I found just the other day, if you are good friends with Vivienne and use the Andrastian throne. During her one dialogue, instead of saying the Inquisitor has good tastes in thrones, she will say that she appreciates the Inquisitor’s eyes for symbolism.
Skyhold: Elven Imagery: Again, another fun thing of note rather than something worth checking out. Besides Solas’ elven art-form in Skyhold, there are a few other note-worthy pieces. In Blackwall’s barn, there is actually a depiction of the Halla Mother and Mother of all Beasts, Ghilan’nain with a mighty bear. While owl imagery (associated with both Falon’Din and Andruil) pop up in several places within Skyhold.
Speak with Hawke’s Warden: After finding Hawke’s Warden in Crestwood, you can return to Skyhold and speak with them on the ramparts where you met Hawke.
Josephine’s Rumors: I haven’t gotten to explore this with other romances yet, but a romanced Josephine is apparently a popular source of gossip in Val Royeaux. Though it’s not always good gossip and I’m sure Leliana wracks up quite a body count, with as many times as the question on whether Josephine has been “fade-touched” by the Inquisitor comes up.
Crossroads Agents: The mission mark doesn’t always come up for this, but once you’ve helped everyone in the Hinterlands’ Crossroad be sure to talk to Corporal Vale again! He will actually give you the chance to recruit more agents and gain more power/influence/experience.
Quizquisition: So randomized that it is very easy to miss. If you are lucky enough you may find a strange man popping up over Skyhold asking you questions regarding DA:I lore, for something he calls the Quizquisition. If you answer enough of his questions (three of them) he will actually give you a giant spoon to hit things with…(Greatsword: 220 DPS). The easiest way to find the Quizquisitor is to acquire the “Elite Clientele” Perk from the War Table and then find him in the basement vault, returning after leaving Skyhold as many times as needed.
The Verchiel March/Friends in High and Low Places: Remember the point earlier about how I highly recommend the conversation perks? This is another good reason for it. When you go to complete Sera’s Personal Quest, “The Verchiel March”, the only real way to gain approval from Sera is to have her beat the fellow up and discard an alliance (or piss off Sera and gain a noble ally). Which for one of my characters would never have been an option. However, if you happen to have the “Nobility Knowledge” perk, then you can gain approval from Sera and force the noble to work for you. Sera is happy you embarrassed and essentially robbed from the noble, and Lord ass-kiss Harmond is just happy to have his life and reputation (but not his lands). All ends well and my character stayed perfectly in-character.
